Song

Sky under water (2000)

Text von Marcel Dickow
Musik von M. Gremmer / Broken Dream

I heard it on the radio
early in the morning
I saw on the TV
I held you while we fall free
sky (is) under water

People were running on the streets
crying, shouting out their fears
as loud as they can
the traffic broke down
within a moment I got quiet
and fought against the thought of dying

As the sun goes down on firth
it's the last night on earth
nothing's shure about it except death
one day world's watching God's face

Later on we drove alone
to a west-coast beach
enjoyed the silence and the sun
and kept our love
while watching the clouds above

As the sun goes down on firth
it's the last night on earth
nothing's shure about it except death
one day world's watching God's face

Out of the red water seems to come
Neptunes white whales to get me
black snow-flakes drifting over the sea
I turned around to watch my footsteps
washed out by the wind....

I tried to tell you everything's allright
didn't want to loose you
that simple way
with a shiver in your hands
excited you run away
into the fading day

As the sun goes down on firth
it's the last night on earth
nothing's shure about it except death
one day world's watching God's face

Out of the red water seems to come
Neptunes white whales to get me
black snow-flakes drifting over the sea
I turned around to watch my footsteps
washed out by the wind....

People were running on the streets
crying, shouting out their fears....
